AIAA welcomes student participants to the Region VII European Student Conference. Students must join AIAA to be eligible to compete in the conference. To join AIAA, please go to www.aiaa.org and click on To Join at the bottom of the home page. Student membership is 20USD.

Conference Location


Location
The conference was hold on the Campus Garching accommodating several faculties of the Munich University of Technology like chemistry, mechanical engineering, mathematics and information technology as well as some well known institutes like the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the Max Planck Society.

We are situated in building 6, ground floor within the Faculty for Mechanical Engineering.

Approach

By public transportation
From Munich Central Station take the commuter- train (S-Bahn) to "Marienplatz". Then take the underground U6 to "Garching- Hochbrück" and exit at the terminal "Garching- Hochbrück". The bus lines 291 or 691 will take you to the station "Forschungsreaktor" (35-40 minutes overall).



By car
Leave motorway A9 Nuremberg-Munich at exit "Garching-Nord" (exit number 70) and follow the sign "Forschungsinstitute". If you come from the airport, leave motorway A92 at exit "Freising-Süd" (exit number 5) and follow the B11 to Munich.
The Institute of Flight Propulsion (LFA) is part of the Faculty for Mechanical Engineering (Maschinenwesen). You will find the institute in the ground floor of building MW 6. Parking sites are shown in the map.

2008 Conference
The 2008 AIAA-Pegasus Conference will be held in 23-26 April 2008 at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Please contact Professor Daniel Hanus at hanus@fsik.cvut.cz or Dr. Jan Rohac at xrohac@fel.cvut.cz for more details.
 
2008 Author Kit
Your paper should be prepared according to AIAA Author Kit Guidelines. Please note the paper can be no longer than 11 pages single column because this is a student competition. Masters Competition papers may have up to two student authors and list a faculty advisor as co-author.
